SDCCE CARES is a comprehensive basic needs program designed to help students meet fundamental needs of food, housing, transportation, childcare, health care, and mental wellness.
We connect students to dignified, accessible, and timely resources that will allow
students to live well and thrive while completing their educational goals. We offer
on- and off-campus support programs and services to assist our students in meeting
their basic needs.
Basic Needs Support Request Form
If you need support with access to food, housing resources, transportation assistance, technology tools, or other basic needs, we encourage you to fill out this form. This form will be used to connect you with resources related to your identified areas of need.
Eligibility
- Students must be currently enrolled with a minimum of 5 instructional hours per week;
- Students must adhere to the student Code of Conduct standards (Board Policy 5500);

The Source is a comprehensive, downloadable resource guide that connects students and the community
to information on basic needs services and resources including housing, mental health,
food, and technology. The SDCCE Market Place is located on the Educational Cultural Complex Campus and assists
students with no-cost food and hygiene products. The Market Place is open and available
to all SDCCE students. Be Well CCE provides Mental Health Services, Student Health Services, referrals and
programming for your wellness. Learn more about how to connect with our Mental Health
Specialist. The SDCCE CARES Laptop Loaner Program is open for the Fall 2023 semester. Please submit
