This course provides a study of patternmaking techniques, combining traditional methods
with computer-aided drafting (CAD) tools. Students learn to create patterns using
flat patternmaking and draping, and how to translate them into two-dimensional (2D)
and three-dimensional (3D) digital CAD formats. CAD software enhances efficiency,
precision, and creativity in patternmaking processes. Practical skills will be developed
through hands-on project-based learning. (FT)
