Internet Basics

An introduction to Internet using microcomputers to access and use Internet resources in personal and business real-world situations. Through demonstration and hands-on projects, students will learn how to connect to a network and basic network concepts. This will include accessing the Internet direct or choosing an on-line provider, locating, retrieving and sending information globally using Internet resources such as the World Wide Web, messaging, news groups, file exchange and interpersonal communication.
