This is an open entry/exit course designed to prepare students for employment as a
fleet service technician. Instruction includes; safety procedures; vehicle maintenance;
engine theory and minor repair; introduction to electrical systems; braking system
service; front and rear suspensions; fuel delivery systems; tune up and drivability;
introduction to transmission and driveline components. Instruction will take place
in a simulated work environment and where appropriate, instructions will meet National
Automotive Technician Education Foundation Standards. (FT)
