This course focuses on the development of English language listening, speaking, reading,
and writing skills, and equips students with basic knowledge of U.S. history and government.
It also provides students with the basic knowledge of the naturalization process and
rights and responsibilities of U.S. citizenship to prepare for advancement to an ESL
