This course teaches older adults the history, styles and evolution of art through
the ages. The primary focus of this course will be how artists have depicted life
and our environment through various visual mediums including, but not limited to,
drawing, painting and sculpture. It is oriented to older adult students who would
like to familiarize themselves with the different types of art and to gain a deeper
understanding of art. (FT)
