Welcome to San Diego College of Continuing Education at Mesa College

San Diego College of Continuing Education at Mesa College offers free, noncredit classes for adults in a welcoming, sustainable campus. Opened in 2013, the 38,500-square-foot facility brings programs like ESL, Disability Support, Parent Education, and Emeritus classes for adults 55+ together under one roof, with hands-on spaces including art labs, a teaching kitchen, and a ceramics yard.

Programs Offered

Academic and Career Training

  • Adult Basic Education: Foundational courses for adults.
  • High School Diploma and Equivalency: Classes for adults to complete their high school education.
  • English as a Second Language: Includes both general and more specialized "Prevocational ESL" courses focused on career pathways.
  • Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship
  • Child Development
  • Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS): Offers programs like the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) program. 

Courses for Older Adults (Emeritus)

For students aged 55 and older, CE Mesa and other campuses offer "Emeritus" courses, including subjects like:
